The Puy Saint Vincent resort as showned again its aperture with new winter sports by welcoming an international competition, the first in France since many years. A great opportunity to admire the best athletes in the world of snowboard.
Pierre Vaultier didn't miss his rendez-vous at home wining in front of the italian Pozzolini. For the girls, 3 french have taken the 3 first places with a victory for Océane Pozzo.

Today, I'm lucky to be able to live for my passion in the Pays des Ecrins in the heart of the Hautes Alpes.
In Puy Saint Vincent and Pelvoux-Vallouise alike, I can find all that a high level sportsman dreams of open spaces, freedom and good facilities.

On the cretes run in Puy Saint Vincent, a mini snow park will be made for the event and will welcom skiers, snowboarders et spectators.
A free learning half day is organised with ski monitors. A bump for student will also be made for this use on the event.
The other half day will be for a freestyle show in music.
The second day will be animated by 2 contest in jam session. The best moves will be rewarded.

New in 2008 :
ICE 2008 has adopted an environmental dimension in keeping with the existing sporting, security conscious and social spirit .Our natural playground is becoming more and more precious and we would like to combine habit with" green" awareness. The huge Bivouac evening was one of the high points of the event with big bonfires, giant cauldrons of soup and mulled wine, films, entertainment and shows, and night in tents.

18th Puy St Vincent International Festival of Laughter

From 11th to 16th of january 2009, performances every day at 5pm and 8.30 pm in Puy Saint-Vincent, Vallouise, L'Argentière La Bessée and Pelvoux.
Each year, at the beginning of January, the World of Comedy meets up at Puy St Vincent to enjoy a week of winter sports, good humour and conviviality.

Originally set up to discover young talents , over the years this unique Festival has become the essential meeting point for young comedians, professional performers and the press alike.
The Puy Saint Vincent Festival of Laughter will immerse you for one week in another world marked by the rhythm of two performances daily and by unusual encounters.
You could have met up with Pierre Palmade, Greg Le millionaire, Jean-Luc Lemoine, Christophe Alévê in 2008 and they will be even more numerous in 2009.
