Road conditions for 19/11/2008


The road to pre de madame carle is closed between ailefroide and pre de madame carle from now to the spring.

 

The access road to Ailefroide is closed from 8h to17h30 from monday to friday from 06/11 to 30/11 and closed all day from 01/12 to 12/12.

 

The access road to Fournel valley is opened to the end of the valley.

 

For Freissinieres valley, the road to Dormillouse is open until the parking of The "cascades".

 

The access road to l'Eychauda is opened up to Chambran.


These conditions are only for the Pays des Ecrins roads and for the Pays des Ecrins high valleys access : access to Ailefroide and Pré de Mme Carle by Pelvoux (La Vallouise valley), Fournel and silver mines access (Fournel valley), Dormillouse car park access (Freissinières valley).

Wenesday 19th of november, a nice sun make the temperature grow up again. Maximum temperatures around 12°C in valley. 0°C isotherm is around 2500m. The wind in mountain blows weakly from north around 10 km/h.

 

The week continue with the same type of weather before the arrival of clouds on friday which bring snow falls at low altitude all week end.

The above weather forecast is only for the Pays des Ecrins 9 communities : L'Argentière la Bessée, Champcella, Freissinières, Pelvoux, Puy Saint Vincent, La Roche de Rame, Saint Martin de Queyrières, Vallouise, Les Vigneaux.
