Micro-Adventure<\/em>Winter in the Mountains with the Family: Shared Moments of Joy<\/strong><\/h2><\/div>\n\n

Here we go. For these February vacation days, we\u2019re heading to the mountains for a<\/strong> family getaway<\/strong>. Our little family consists of Zo\u00e9 and L\u00e9onie, our daughters, and Hugo and me, Z\u00e9lie, the parents. Last winter, we stayed at the Pelvoux-Vallouise resort and <\/a>absolutely loved our trip. That\u2019s why we\u2019re doing it again this season. <\/p>\n\n

Skiing: a sure bet for our<\/em>family winter vacation<\/em>in Pelvoux-Vallouise<\/strong><\/h3><\/div>\n\n

The whole family agrees: we want to ski! Zo\u00e9 and I decided to give snowboarding a try. Before our trip, I booked beginner-level lessons<\/a> for the two of us, as well as 2-star alpine skiing lessons for L\u00e9onie. I was just as eager as Zo\u00e9 to try a new winter sport, even though I was a little nervous about falling. Once the lesson started, thanks to our instructor\u2019s advice, my fear disappeared. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Little by little, I’m gaining confidence<\/strong> and making noticeable progress\u2026 although I have to admit that I’m improving much more slowly than Zo\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But what a wonderful feeling it is to discover a new way to hit the slopes! Outside of <\/strong>class, the four of us get together and ski on the slopes of Pelvoux-Vallouise. We share some precious moments together. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Sled Dogs:<\/em>L\u00e9onie Takes the Whole Family on an Adventure<\/h3><\/div>\n\n

L\u00e9onie has loved animals ever since she was a little girl. She\u2019s dying to go dog sledding. It doesn\u2019t take her long to convince us because we, too, are thrilled by the idea of spending some timeless moments in the great outdoors with the dogs<\/strong>. Luckily, I had planned ahead and made a reservation a few days earlier. <\/p>\n\n

Exploring the Great Outdoors by Sled<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We chose the \u201cFamily Sledding Experience , \u201d <\/a>which takes place in Puy Saint Vincent. When we arrive, we get to meet the dogs. It\u2019s a wonderful , heartwarming experience<\/strong>. Then we settle into the sled. All bundled up, we set off on an adventure worthy of the Far North<\/strong>\u2014it\u2019s magical! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re impressed by the strength and energy of the dogs led by the musher. We glide through a magnificent, powdery landscape, surrounded by snow-covered larch trees, and feel the fresh air on our faces. We\u2019re lucky: the weather is splendid. The sun is shining, and the snow sparkles<\/strong> brilliantly. L\u00e9onie is delighted and laughs out loud. Once the ride is over, we say goodbye to the dogs, showering them with hugs and cuddles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The package we chose is truly a wonderful way to experience this activity. And I have to admit, for me, letting someone else take the lead without having to worry about a thing suits me perfectly. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
