Micro-Adventure <\/em>: Nordic Activities <\/em>and Rejuvenation\u2014Peace and Quiet in the Heart of the \u00c9crins<\/h2><\/div>\n\n

We are Marie and Fran\u00e7ois, an active retired couple. As January draws to a close, we\u2019re sitting by the window of our lodging in Pelvoux-Vallouise, in the Hautes-Alpes, savoring the start of the day as we gaze out at the snow-capped mountains<\/strong> bathed in the sun\u2019s first rays. The air is crystal clear<\/strong>, and the sky is pristine. \u201cExactly what we need,\u201d I think to myself as Fran\u00e7ois checks out the various cross-country skiing trails in the Pays des \u00c9crins. I tell myself that our trip\u2014a mix of Nordic activities and relaxation<\/strong>\u2014is off to a great start. <\/p>\n\n

The Pays des \u00c9crins: a <\/em>region that exudes a sense of fulfillment<\/h3><\/div>\n\n

In this part of the \u00c9crins National Park, we immediately feel that we have found our haven. Far from the hustle and bustle<\/strong>, we discover a different way of experiencing the mountains\u2014one that combines sports, contemplation, and rejuvenation. We are captivated by the hanging glaciers, the jagged peaks, and the villages and hamlets blanketed in snow. The landscapes are breathtaking. <\/p>\n\n

Fran\u00e7ois discovered the Pays des \u00c9crins while watching a video about the opening of the Vallouise cross-country ski area. He fell in love with it right away and immediately suggested we go explore the region ona romantic getaway<\/strong>. I said yes! <\/p>\n\n
