Festival<\/strong><\/em><\/em>Around Brassens<\/strong><\/h2><\/div>\n\n

The Festival Autour de Brassens <\/strong>in l’Argenti\u00e8re-La-Bess\u00e9e is an annual festival that pays tribute<\/strong> to the musical <\/strong>and poetic legacy of Georges Brassens<\/strong> and other French chansonniers of the twentieth century<\/strong>. This year is the 19th edition, organized with passion by Maurice<\/strong> and H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Bonnardel <\/strong>and their team from the Autour de Brassens<\/strong> association. <\/p>\n\n

By bringing together admirers<\/strong> of Brassens<\/strong> and lovers of French<\/strong> music<\/strong>, the event makes a contribution to the enrichment of local<\/strong> <\/strong>cultural life and thestrengthening of community ties.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Every evening at 8:30 p.m., the cultural centre <\/strong>of L’Argenti\u00e8re-la-Bess\u00e9e welcomes passionate artists<\/strong> who pay tribute to Brassens<\/strong> and other figures of French song<\/strong>. <\/strong> The festival has been able to seduce the public since its creation in 2007<\/strong> thanks to a carefully chosen program and energetic performances. <\/p>\n\n

It was a Brassens festival in Vaison-la-Romaine <\/strong>that inspired the Bonnardels<\/strong> to create this event. Thanks to their willingness and their network of contacts, they manage to find talented artists<\/strong>, even beyond their region. <\/p>\n\n
