Discover the main routes \u2014 including the famous GR 54, a real common thread in the heart of the \u00c9crins National Park \u2014 as well as the essential rules to follow to bivouac safely, while respecting protected environments. <\/p>\n\n

GR 54<\/em>Tour of Oisans and \u00c9crins from L’Argenti\u00e8re-la-Bess\u00e9e<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The GR 54<\/strong> is the mythical route of the Southern Alps<\/strong>. It takes you to the foot of the legendary peaks that make up this exceptional massif, such as the Barre des \u00c9crins<\/strong>, La Meije, Mont Pelvoux<\/strong>, Le Sirac, etc. Thus, this Grande Randonn\u00e9e, created in 1964, is a sporty and wild route, which is mainly located in the heart of the \u00c9crins National Park<\/strong>, over a distance of 209 km completed in 15 days. You will travel over 14 passes and more than 12,000 m of elevation gain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This itinerary invites you to discover remarkable landscapes accompanied by unique and protected fauna and flora. You will navigate between inhabited valleys and high mountains on the different valleys that make up this massif: the Vallouise<\/strong>, the Champsaur, the Valgaudemar, the Valbonnais, the Oisans and the Brian\u00e7onnais. Finally, during this journey you will also be spoiled by enjoying the climate of the Southern Alps, semi-alpine and Mediterranean, which offers a rare and astonishing wealth of flora. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
