Pays des \u00c9crins<\/h2><\/div>\n\n

Come and let off steam on our 10 most beautiful trail routes in the heart of the Pays des Ecrins. <\/p>\n\n

La Roche-de-Rame,<\/em>circuit of the lakes<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n

A superb climb in the woods<\/strong>, with a few steep slopes to get the cardio going, then the view that opens up on the Queyras <\/strong>and the T\u00eate de Vautisse<\/strong> as you approach the Peyron pass<\/strong>. Finally arrived at the top, you enjoy a little, breathe a lot, enjoy the view of the Pic du B\u00e9al Traversier <\/strong>behind you, then you look a little towards the descent. And finally we discover the real goal of this race, Lake Escur<\/strong> and then Lake Ascension<\/strong>, which we can enjoy at leisure during the descent, very gentle and regular. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Vigneaux<\/em>The Cross of La Salcette<\/h3><\/div>\n\n

Leaving Les Vigneaux <\/strong>and the Vallouise<\/strong> valley, you gradually rise above two valleys, one eye towards Brian\u00e7on<\/strong>, the other towards Vallouise<\/strong>, while you reach the hamlet of Bouchier <\/strong>in which you would like to stop as the atmosphere is so mild. We set off again in the woods following a regular slope<\/strong>, until the arrival under the pincers of the Montbrison<\/strong>, where the slope becomes steeper, the last efforts before arriving at the Croix de la Salcette<\/strong>, from where we dominate almost everything and from where the view is magical! <\/p>\n\n

The Vigneaux<\/em>The tour of Montbrison<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Col de la Trancoulette<\/strong> and Col de la Vallouise<\/strong> are on the programme of this difficult <\/strong>but magnificent <\/strong>trail that takes you around the emblematic Montbrison<\/strong>. The long climb to the Col de la Trancoulette<\/strong> is rich and varied, we gradually leave Les Vigneaux <\/strong>and Bouchier <\/strong>to go deeper into the Montbrison massif.<\/strong> Then we come out of it by climbing towards the Col de la Vallouise<\/strong>, where the Pelvoux <\/strong>and the Blanche <\/strong>reveal themselves a little more with each stride. The end is a race downhill to Les Vigneaux<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Freissini\u00e8res<\/em>Monsieur’s walk<\/h3><\/div>\n\n

Trail running has always fascinated you but you are afraid to take the plunge, fearing climbs that are too steep or descents that are too arduous? Fortunately, the Freissini\u00e8res valley<\/strong> and the aptly named Monsieu r ballad<\/strong>are there for you, with a start at the bottom of the valley, then a gentle climb<\/strong> on an excellent forest path<\/strong>. The descent is rolling and very pleasant, before reaching the bottom of the valley, where you can enjoy an exceptional<\/strong> setting<\/strong>, almost effortlessly! <\/p>\n\n

The Col de la Pousterle<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n

A climb to a pass is the assurance of a discovery <\/strong>that will occur, at some point, a landscape <\/strong>that opens up after a final bend. The climb to the Col de la Pousterle<\/strong> is all that, and even a little better. Because the landscapes are countless <\/strong>here, you almost forget that you are running and that the slope is going up, so captivating is the scenery. The arrival at the top could not be more magical, a wooded plateau,<\/strong> splendid lights<\/strong>… one would almost hesitate to go down! <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Vallouise<\/em>Trailounet<\/h3><\/div>\n\n

At the start of this trail, if you go up, it is only to take a step back from the Vallouise<\/strong> valley, to be able to observe the village of Vallouise <\/strong>and the summits of the Bans<\/strong> more freely. By joining the balcony trail, you can taste the joys of the thorn-covered trail trails that make the stride so fluid<\/strong> and the support so flexible<\/strong>. The return is along the Gyronde <\/strong>on a flat path that calls for the final sprint<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The Lauzet Circuit<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Are you a trail runner looking to improve your running technique<\/strong> ? The Circuit du Lauzet<\/strong> is for you! Forest track, torrent<\/strong> crossing, grassy track, forest<\/strong> crossing, steep ascent and descent in small switchbacks. This quiet itinerary explores two small valleys<\/strong>, with the typical chalets of Lauzet<\/strong> as a highlight. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Puy Aillaud<\/h3><\/div>\n\n

The start along the Gyr <\/strong>is a perfect warm-up<\/strong>, from Vallouise <\/strong>to Pelvoux<\/strong>, before attacking the climb to Puy Aillaud. The climb is gentle and regular, and leaves time to admire the hamlets of Pelvou<\/strong>x below as well as the valley of Chambran<\/strong>, dominated by the pyramid of the Cucumelle<\/strong>. The arrival at the summit is in a flowery meadow, before reaching the hamlet of Puy Aillaud<\/strong>, then descending to Vallouise through the forest<\/strong>, looking towards the Queyras. <\/p>\n\n

The Durance<\/em>Pink Marble Circuit<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n

A very easy loop to climb above the Durance<\/strong>, between the pine forest <\/strong>and the lavender<\/strong>, on a forest track in very good condition. The unobstructed view allows you to admire the singular lake of the Roche de Rame<\/strong>, along a balcony crossing to the south, before returning to the Roche de Rame. For sure, the mere thought of soaking your tired legs in the clear water<\/strong> should make you speed up at the end. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Vallouise<\/em>Ondinette<\/h3><\/div>\n\n

If the slope scares you, if the sun worries you, then take your shoes anyway, and follow the forest track<\/strong> along the Onde<\/strong>, on a calm and quiet route. Perfect for initiation <\/strong>or recovery sessions<\/strong>, the Ondinette <\/strong>is an opportunity for you to close your eyes (not for too long while running) to enjoy the sound of the waterfalls <\/strong>and the torrent<\/strong>, and to feel the larches <\/strong>around you. <\/p>\n\n
