To celebrate International Women’s Day, the Pays des Écrins invites you to enjoy a weekend dedicated to women: three days of gatherings and experiences designed to bring you joy!

• “Women at the Summits” Show:
  That evening, immerse yourself in the world of women’s mountaineering through a unique show, narrated and performed by three passionate women. An ode to the mountains, to strength, to daring, and to the stories of those who call them home.
  6:30 p.m. – Marcel Régout Hall, Vallouise-Pelvoux Town Hall, Free!

• Contest at the Vallouise Nordic Ski Area: Try your luck from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Nordic Ski Area reception chalet. The drawing will take place at 12 p.m. —enter for a chance to win a night ride on a snow groomer in L’Onde, either Saturday evening or Sunday morning!

• Raffle at the base of the slopes in the Pelvoux-Vallouise resort (at the resort’s tourist office): from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. , with the drawing at 4:30 p.m.— for a chance to win a private lesson for two with the director of the Pelvoux-Vallouise ESF (1:30 p.m. on Sunday)!
• Guided tour “Women in Vallouise in the 18th Century” on Saturday, March 7, at 2:30 p.m., led by
  Elsa Giraud. You’ll discover Vallouise-Pelvoux through various activities associated with women (the fountain, the church, childbirth, etc.) and the life stories of some notable women (unwed mothers, early feminists, etc.).
  Admission: Adults: €9; ages 14–18, students, and unemployed individuals: €7; free for children 13 and under.

• “O! Féminin” Poetry Evening: Women’s voices from antiquity to the present day speaking of our connection to nature and our emotions, featuring an exploration of your seven senses and listening to the song of a tree. Saturday, March 7, at 6 p.m., in the heated teepee in the winter garden of Florent Pedrini’s photography gallery, in the center of Vallouise. Space is limited to 8 people; hosted by Claire Marcoz. • Welcome Party & DJ: Join us at 4:30 p.m., followed by a fun musical set with DJ Kris10 to kick off the weekend in good company.

• Breakfast at the top of the slopes in the Pelvoux-Vallouise ski resort: Start your day on the slopes with a complimentary breakfast (croissants, chocolate croissants, and hot drinks), to be enjoyed while taking in the spectacular scenery of the Pays des Écrins.
• A raffle will be held on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. at the chairlift arrival area, where you can win a wellness massage to help you relax after a day on the slopes. Come try your luck from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the top of the Crête chairlift.
