- My parents take me for walks, protect me from the sun, give me a drink often!
- I stay in the valleys, I don’t like the altitude yet, it hurts my ears
Birth > 1 year
- I let myself be taken for a sledge or pulka ride (from 6 months to 6-7 years old) in the Nordic area of Vallouise-Pelvoux-Les Vigneaux. Comfortably installed in my pulka, lent by the Chalet nordique de Vallouise, I am Mom and Dad who ski (almost) as if nothing had happened!
- Thanks to the Pelvoux-Vallouise resort parents’ pass + young child(ren) under 3 years old, Mom and Dad will be able to ski alternately (at a low price on the same pass) and take turns to look after me!
From 1 year old
- I can go to the toy library with my brothers, sisters, and friends who are under 6 years old—an adult comes with us and plays with us!
- We forgot to bring any books! Luckily, there are libraries in L’Argentière-La Bessée, Vallouise, and Puy Saint Vincent!

- Swimming at the Lac de la Roche-de-Rame or in the swimming pools of the Pays des Écrins!
- I go for a bike ride: in the trailer of the electric bike, or in the baby seat!

- I’m going to have fun on the many playgrounds in the Pays des Écrins
- Great, I go to see the sheep on the way up to the mountain pastures in July, there is one in August too!
- I go up in altitude with the ski lifts and my ears no longer hurt!

- My parents take me on a dog sled baptism with them (Puy Saint Vincent station)
- I’m two and a half years old and I’m learning what it’s like to slide down the slopes at the snow park! (Pelvoux-Vallouise and Puy Saint Vincent resorts)
- Getting back on track is still a bit difficult, I let myself be pulled away… and we have a lot of fun going down a toboggan with a big one!
- Today, I’m going to discover the buoy pulled by a horse in Vallouise!
- We’re going to visit the farm “L’Âne qui bulle” in Vallouise-Pelvoux. After petting the adorable baby donkeys and meeting the farm animals—the alpacas—I get to cut out a bar of soap shaped like a donkey and take it home with me. It’s fun. Children must be accompanied by an adult (workshop for ages 2 to 6).

- I’m going on a picnic at La Pousterle, tomorrow it’s a snack at Madame Carle’s Pré!
- Now I do short hikes: the circuit of the canals of Puy Saint Vincent
- I can do puzzles and the discovery trail at La Maison du Parc des Écrins
- I go to the show during the summer festivals!
- A village festival ?… The Guide Festival ?… There are surely animations for me!
- Shall we climb? For me it will be 3+ at “Baby-climbing”

- I go for a walk with alpacas, they are super soft!

- I can go on supervised mountain bike rides and they lend me a great bike!
- The Tree Climbing Park has planned a circuit for me!
- Dad takes me to an introductory meditation workshop… He said it felt good!
- Today, it’s ponies!
- I’m going to try to do all the treasure hunts in the Pays des Écrins, there are plenty of them!
- I can visit the snow groomers’ garage in the resorts, do I have to register first?
- Tonight, we’re going to the farm to buy vegetables, cheese, honey… All kinds of good stuff!

- I love going to a restaurant to eat the traditional cabbage sausage with potatoes with my parents!
- Today, we’re heading to the Écrins National Park Visitor Center in Vallouise! There’s always an exhibit or a movie to check out!
- Tomorrow, a snack at the honey house: gingerbread and hot chocolate for me—and a warm thought for the bees!
From 5 years old
- Great, I can now visit the Silver Mine and the Mining Museum!
- I discovered the Maison du Parc national des Écrins, the exhibitions, the films…
- I’m going to try paragliding… with an instructor!
- I love markets, my parents will buy me a little souvenir or a treat!
- I can swim well and I’m not afraid of water: I’m going rafting with a guide!
From 6 years old
- Passionate about astronomy, I go to observe the constellation of Orion from the Le Pas du Loup gîte, it seems that it has a nebula for a knee…
- I can take snowboarding lessons now!
- More than an hour of sledding… all downhill, to enjoy with family or friends?! Wow, I’ll need a helmet and an adult to go with me! (Puy Saint Vincent Resort)
- I have limited mobility and would love to hit the slopes: I’m going to ask a ski school—I’m sure they’ll have something to offer me!
- No skiing today: I’m going to learn how to throw a bowl with Johannès, the potter from L’Argentière-La Bessée!
- The Mini-Club offers a wide variety of activities. I signed up for a trapper hike with my 8-year-old brother and my cousin, who’s already 11!
- I’ve earned my first snowflake for the ESF and my crystal for the ESI—now I can take part in the lantern parade in Pelvoux-Vallouise!
- Tomorrow, I’m going to try skijoring in Vallouise with Mom and Dad!
- Now I can go paragliding! (Pelvoux-Vallouise Resort) in a tandem flight
- I am discovering the seven worlds of the rainbow forest—one for each color. Each has its own door, which I open using my seven senses and the song of a tree.
From 7 years old
- Now I’m over 1.25m tall and can take the chairlift on my own!
- Tonight, there are no clouds, I’m going to observe the stars… I dream of seeing Andromeda!
- I would like to climb trees, I love being perched, is it possible? Yes, and much more!
- I love hiking (400 m of elevation gain), especially if there’s a destination to look forward to: a lake, animals… or a tasty treat at a mountain hut…
- I can do a laser game with my cousins, friends and girlfriends!
From 8 years old
- I love sled dogs, I go to the “kid-sled” in private lessons!
- I’m 1.25 m tall, so I can ride the chairlift by myself.
- I’ve heard about “new ways to slide”: snooc, scooter!
- I love nature; I go to the Écrins National Park Visitor Center, where I can learn to identify animal tracks in the snow.
- I saw Martin Fourcade on TV—I love cross-country skiing! This winter, I’d like to try biathlon—you shoot with a laser rifle… I’m going to ask my parents to contact the ski schools!
From 9 years old
- I weigh 30 kilos and I’ve earned my third ski star: now I can go paragliding! (Puy Saint Vincent Resort)
- Great! Today, I’m going to try out my new cross-country skis and give ski hockey a shot with my friends. Plus, the Vallouise Nordic Chalet is lending me the gear!

- Running makes me feel good, I love it! Tonight, I’m going to do a night ride on the snow for the first time: I take my headlamp!
- I’m an expert skier—red runs don’t scare me. I want to try something new: snowkiting, freestyle, freeriding… I don’t know what to choose. I’m going to check out the ski schools; they’ll definitely be able to give me some good advice!
