Treat yourself to a snowshoeing getaway in the heart of the Écrins National Park, at the foot of the Pelvoux massif. On Thursday evening, a welcome drink awaits you at your lodging to kick off the adventure. Each day, a new trail lets you discover a different side of the Freissinières Valley, the park’s unspoiled gem.
On Friday, the Col des Lauzes offers a superb panoramic view of the Écrins and Pelvoux ranges as you wind your way through woods and meadows. On Saturday, the Vallon de Bouffard leads you through larch forests to a peaceful hamlet perched on the banks of the Durance River. On Sunday, Dormillouse awaits you: a high-altitude village accessible only on foot, nestled among icefalls.
A certified mountain guide with a degree in natural sciences will lead you in a small group of no more than 8 people. The trip is suitable for beginners in good physical condition as well as experienced hikers. Full board, snowshoe equipment, and a safety kit are provided.
