Bureau des guides (mountain guides)

The Ecrins Guides’ Association has been in existence since 1909 and is one of the oldest guides’ associations in France.

Our local association currently comprises around forty High Mountain Guides, State-Certified Climbing and Canyoning Instructors, and Mid-Mountain Guides. Throughout the year, our staff members Eloise and Boris are on hand to welcome you, offer advice and work with you to plan your dream itinerary. Then, following a rota to ensure the work is shared fairly, one of our office members will guide you on the adventure you have chosen.

With more than 100 years' of history, the Bureau des Guides et Accompagnateurs en Écrins has evolved constantly. What drives us is our love of the mountains. This is what makes us professionals. A passion that we teach on all levels, respecting human values in harmony with nature.
