The famous Chasse à l’Ours is back in Vallouise-Pelvoux for a day of cross-country skiing filled with laughter and thrills! Organized by the Nordic en Vallouise association, this event is open to young skiers—even beginners—and offers a fun way to improve on the trails.

Catch the Bear!
The concept is simple and fun: children on cross-country skis must chase a bear (or several!) that’s skiing down a cross-country trail. The goal is to catch its tail before it gets away! Participants, just like the bear, will be able to catch their breath and warm up with hot drinks that will be served between each round.

Activities for All Ages
While the little ones try to catch the bear, the older kids can enjoy another fun activity: ski hockey—a dynamic and athletic way to hone their skiing skills while having fun as a team.

An accessible and friendly event
You don’t have to be a cross-country skiing champion to participate! This day is an opportunity to gain confidence on the snow while having fun in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. The goal is to share a fun time with family or friends while enjoying the Nordic setting in Vallouise.
