On the trappers’ trail, in winter…
For a day and an evening, slipping into the shoes of a trapper is exactly what we invite you to experience during this micro-adventure. Observe the peaceful and wild nature that surrounds you. Learn to live with what it offers you, to be in total symbiosis in this environment. Complete immersion in the trapper’s life means discovering fire and animal tracking techniques. Back to basics and limitless escape will be the key words of this first day in the Pays des Écrins.
From traces to constellations
Between forests and mountain pastures, Nordic skis or snowshoes on your feet, explore a vast plateau facing the majestic Mont Pelvoux (3,943 m). With a bit of luck, you will be able to observe the chamois, these discreet acrobats of the slopes, who like wooded and pastoral areas between 800 and 2,300 m above sea level. After this nature immersion, the evening continues under a teepee for an unforgettable fondue in the middle of the mountains, before leaving for a night walk. Under the celestial vault, learn to read the sky and spot the stars: a magical interlude to end the adventure with stars in your eyes.
