Coming northern
Take the A48 motorway to Grenoble, then take the Col du Lautaret (RN91). Cross Briançon in the direction of Gap. You enter the Pays des Écrins from Saint-Martin de Queyrières.
Coming southern
Take the A51 motorway to La Saulce, then head towards Briançon (RN 94). You enter the Pays des Écrins from La Roche de Rame.

From Italy
Take the A43 motorway from the Maurienne via the Fréjus tunnel, then take the Col de Montgenèvre. Cross Briançon in the direction of Gap. You enter the Pays des Écrins from Saint-Martin de Queyrières.
From Belgium
Follow the A26 motorway to Dijon. Continue towards Lyon, then take the A43 motorway of the Maurienne through the Fréjus tunnel, then take the Col de Montgenèvre. Cross Briançon in the direction of Gap. You enter the Pays des Écrins from Saint-Martin de Queyrières.

Take the D1091, towards Briançon via the Col du Lautaret, you enter the Pays des Écrins at Saint-Martin de Queyrières.
From Marseille
From the A51 motorway to Gap/Tallard, take the N94 towards Briançon, you enter the Pays des Écrins at La Roche de Rame.
