Entre-les-Aygues Valley: wild nature and alpine freshness

Welcome to the Entre-les-Aygues valley, a little gem of the Écrins National Park. Nestled between forests, mountain pastures and glaciers, it is both an adventure site and a haven of peace, ideal for hiking, recharging your batteries or simply taking your time.

A valley in the heart of the GR54

Access from Vallouise, towards Villard then Puy Aillaud (D504). Since the end of the road, you put on your sneakers: the rest is done on foot.
Starting point of the GR54, the valley leads to the most beautiful hikes of the massif:

  • Jas la Croix hut (2,430 m), belvedere suspended over the valley
  • Bans refuge, facing the glaciers, for a break or a night at altitude

Night in a refuge? Perfect for observing marmots, izards and sunrise in silence, at an altitude of 2,076 m.

Refreshing break along the water

With the family, you can also enjoy a relaxing break by the river. Picnic in the shade, feet in the water, or trout fishing for the most patient.
Bonus: the natural pools dug into the rock offer a wild, fresh and rejuvenating swim.

Between slender ridges, larches, white water and pure air, Entre-les-Aygues is a simple, beautiful and accessible mountain.
