We gain altitude and celebrate the mountain, in Ailefroide, through a festive day around mountaineering. Programmed as part of the “Mountaineering Village” project, this glacial day begins with an introduction to glacier walking, at the Glacier Blanc, roped up and supervised by high mountain guides.

This veritable sea of ice will provide a unique experience and unique sensations: the tinkling of crampons on the ice, the multiple shades of blue, white and grey of the snow, the depth of the crevasses, the majesty of the glacier.

This activity will be offered to about twenty lucky people who will have been drawn as part of a competition, launched by the Tourist Office of the Pays des Écrins, follow our social networks to participate!

After a day of walking on the glacier, in the evening, a captivating event awaits you in Vallouise: the theater show “La Mort d’une Montagne“, presented by the company Le Chant des Pistes. The play will take place in front of the Maison de la Montagne, or in case of bad weather, in the basement room. This play, which has been a resounding success in its previous performances, promises an unforgettable theatrical experience.
