Nordic Day is back in Vallouise for a day entirely dedicated to the joys of Nordic skiing, open to all skill levels and the whole family. Set in the exceptional surroundings of the Chalet Nordique, this snow festival combines introductory sessions, athletic challenges, fun games, and live music, offering a unique way to experience the mountains.
A friendly, festive, and inclusive day, organized by all the Nordic stakeholders in the Pays des Écrins region.
On the agenda for this special day: cross-country skiing lessons, an introduction to biathlon, snowshoe hikes, ski hockey, a timed race, and even a concert.
Whether you’re a fan of Nordic sports or just curious to try new activities, the Vallouise Nordic Day promises an unforgettable day in the heart of the enchanting landscapes of the Pays des Écrins.

- Alternative Cross-Country Skiing: Learn the Basics of the Classic Style.
- Skating: Get started with freestyle skating.
- Biathlon: Combine endurance and precision.
- Laser biathlon (kids): A fun version for the youngest participants.
- Snowshoes: Explore the snow-covered landscapes.
- Time Trial: Test your speed on a timed course.
- Games and Relaxation
- Kids’ Games: Pass to 10, Dodgeball.
- Recreational sports: Hockey, badminton, basketball.
- Atmosphere & Discoveries
- Altitude Jazz Festival Concert (11:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m.)
- Participation by the PGHM and the Écrins National Park; avalanche transceiver training
- Animals (alpacas), sled dogs, light refreshments available on site
