Walking and flying competition – September
Paragliding CompetitionWalking and Flying
Take part in an accessible and friendly 3-day walking and flying adventure in the heart of the Alps! From Vallouise, set off on a loop to the Chardonnet refuge, between the Écrins and Cerces massifs, with a day of star-shaped exploration around the refuge.
This event is intended to be a gateway to the walking and flying competition, with a night in a refuge. The route can be done on foot, in flight, or by alternating several short flights to cross the valleys. Depending on the weather conditions, a route with markers will be offered to make the most of the day.
A wide range of hours will allow you to evolve at your own pace. A safety shuttle will be set up halfway through the course to allow pedestrian access to the refuge (1 hour of walking supervised by the organization). The sector is ideal for early take-offs at altitude, favouring superb thermal flights in this season.
