Water sports and relaxation along the Durance
The Argentière-la-Bessée lake, located near the white water stadium along the Durance, is a place dedicated to leisure, relaxation and discovery. Very accessible, it offers an ideal setting for fishing, swimming, gentle canoeing or training in white water sports.

Nearby, the Michel Baudry stadium, set up in the natural bed of the Durance, hosts more intense practices: river kayaking, hydrospeed, rafting, slalom… Its 400 m pool, classified level III, is approved by the FFCK and used by international teams, with free access outside of competitions.
The site backs onto a comfortable campsite, “Les Écrins”, with a playground, petanque, volleyball and badminton courts in situ.
To eat or relax after the effort, Le Radeau, a small snack bar located on the banks of the Durance, offers friendly cuisine (special mention for the burgers!) and lively good times (concerts every Friday evening in summer).
