Dog sledding
Outdoor activities
Heading for the Nordic adventure
Want to live a moment out of time? Climb aboard a sleigh and let yourself be guided by the pack. In the Pays des Écrins, dog sledding is an opportunity to discover the mountains in a different way: without noise, without skiing… just the breath of the dogs and the snow under the skates.
How does mushing work?
For the more contemplative, comfortably installed in the sled, let yourself be guided by the pack piloted by the musher. For the more adventurous, take the controls of your own sled and learn to drive, supervised by qualified instructors.

Where to practice?
- Puy Saint Vincent (1,400-2,000 m): easy start from the Prés chairlift. A pedestrian pass allows you to access the high plateau.
- Pelvoux-Vallouise: make snow, ideal for children.
- Freissinières: meet Régis and his pack of Nordic dogs: the atmosphere is warm and family-like. After each loop, share his fascinating stories over homemade hot chocolate, a convivial moment that extends the experience.
