At the gateway to the Écrins National Park, the Ranch de Vallouise welcomes riders from the age of three for one-hour pony rides or longer horseback rides. Open every summer from July 1st to August 31st, the center also offers 1h30 lessons for all levels and five-session courses for riders from ten years old. Perched at 1,600 m, this family centre offers pony rides, accompanied rides and even half-day donkey rental. The season usually runs from May to October, depending on snow and weather. For your comfort, bring long pants and closed shoes; Helmets are provided by the centres. In high season, remember to book at least forty-eight hours in advance to guarantee your spot.
