GR 54Tour of Oisans and Écrins from L’Argentière-la-Bessée
The GR 54 is the mythical route of the Southern Alps. It takes you to the foot of the legendary peaks that make up this exceptional massif, such as the Barre des Écrins, La Meije, Mont Pelvoux, Le Sirac, etc. Thus, this Grande Randonnée, created in 1964, is a sporty and wild route, which is mainly located in the heart of the Écrins National Park, over a distance of 209 km completed in 15 days. You will travel over 14 passes and more than 12,000 m of elevation gain.
This itinerary invites you to discover remarkable landscapes accompanied by unique and protected fauna and flora. You will navigate between inhabited valleys and high mountains on the different valleys that make up this massif: the Vallouise, the Champsaur, the Valgaudemar, the Valbonnais, the Oisans and the Briançonnais. Finally, during this journey you will also be spoiled by enjoying the climate of the Southern Alps, semi-alpine and Mediterranean, which offers a rare and astonishing wealth of flora.

GTHAThe Great Crossing of the Hautes-Alpes
This Grande Traversée à VTT is the highest in France, at average altitude marked by the French Cycling Federation (FFC). It transports you to several must-see places in the Hautes-Alpes department, at the foot of the high mountains to the orchards and lavender further south. Thus, you will be able to discover the territory of the Pays des Écrins and its municipalities over more than 50 km.
This 350 km and 17,140 m of elevation gain also offers you a wide variety of exceptional landscapes between 7 and 10 days.

Pays des ÉcrinsThe Super Black
This course is the must in the Pays des Écrins territory in terms of distance and elevation gain in trail running. Indeed, you will cross the different communes that make up the Pays des Écrins: Saint-Martin-de-Queyrières, La Roche-de-Rame, Champcella, Freissinières, L’Argentière-la-Bessée, Vallouise-Pelvoux.
This itinerary carried out in 3 to 5 days over 112 km and 6,878 m of elevation gain, will offer you wild landscapes and grandiose panoramas of all kinds, ranging from high-altitude meadows, to coniferous forests and high-altitude lakes to torrential valleys. In addition, you will climb near several peaks of the territory at more than 2,500 m such as the Tête des Lauzières (2,928 m) or Mont Pelvoux (3,946 m).
